For the German with Listening test, I got a 480. I was sort of expecting this, since my CD kept skipping, and I thought it wouldn't be a big deal, but by the time I realized it was an issue, then it turned into a mess, and I only answered about 13 out of 26 listening questions. The supervisor called the Collegeboard and they said I should just go on with the test and see how it goes, so that's what I did. I lived in Switzerland for a year when I was 12, and continued my German classes until 9th grade. So I felt confident for the test in November (I'm a senior now by the way). Apparently not...

My other subject test was Biology option E, and I got a 640. Again, I was too confident in myself...

I've resigned myself to the fact that I'm not going to get in now, but then I feel like I'm quitting. So I would like some opinions. Thanks in advance.

i, too, didn’t receive very happy news this morning. i was expecting at least a 60+ increase on my SATs but only improved 10…and the composite score -70…

so don’t worry about it. we all have bad days…it wasn’t even your fault! when one thing goes wrong–your CD skipping–it can ruin the whole testing day.

don’t beat yourself up! you won’t remember this when you’re thirty.
