<p>Still haven’t heard back either. I sent mine in around March 20th.</p>
<p>i called 3/1 for packet and they said my reason was legitimate however, they didn’t send it out until 3/5. i received it 3/9 and sent it back that friday. when did you send yours in?</p>

<p>This is a little off-topic but I can see that the discussion concerning what I’m about to type continued on til the 6th page.
In terms of stats here is who was accepted from my school (myself included):
1300+ SAT/30+ ACT
Rank in the top 5%
Had at least the 75 hrs. of community service for Bright Futures (if not more - I had 100, not all recorded - but I used my experience in my essay)</p>
<p>Sometimes it’s luck of the draw. But these stats hold true for the folks that got accepted addition to the quality of UF’s student body.
I hope everything works out for you, OP, and you will undoubtedly do well elsewhere if you put your mind to it.

<p>hahaha well it was fsu, but then i went and visited it, HATED IT. so so much. so i’ll probably end up at Santa Fe College over there in gainesville. I’m not really a community college type, but it’s whatever. They have a pre-dental program which is my major and FSU doesn’t so i figured that it’d be better to go to a community college and get more of my dental pre-reqs done and then transfer to UF.</p>

<p>Anyone heard from UF on appeal?</p>
<p>My son’s friend just got turned down for appeal. He knows of one boy in school that won the appeal and one that didn’t.</p>
