<p>Hi, I was wondering just how many Sat2s colleges require now? I am planning the History and Math2c but I'm unsure as to just what other ones I might need. It seems as if UC Berkeley requires 3? They mention a writing but now the writing is included in the new SAT and this conflicts with the application form. Any ideas/advice? Thanks!</p>
<p>Most of the schools my son is interested in that want SATIIs want at least 3. My son has taken 4, but since he took the SAT II math1, he now plans to take the Math2 in October. The counselor suggested it, since he's interested in engineering, science, computers & math.</p>
<p>All UC's now require only two. You are probably looking at last year's UC application form since the form for applicants to the Fall 2006 freshman class does not come out until October 1, and you cannot use the old form to apply for Fall 2006 so wait for the new one. As to others that require II's it varies, with many that previously required three now requiring two but still a number requiring three. Note that vast majority of colleges do not require any II's.</p>
