My S recently got an email/letter from IU confirming that he is invited to join Huttons. He has direct admission to Kelly too. How does the equation change now? Any information is appreciated. Also recently read on this forum that some kids are getting email on ACE program too. Very confused with all the options out there.

Not really sure what your question is. Nothing changes except that he “may” receive some money from Hutton.

I would guess that the competitive ranks for Kelley students are:

ACE program > Hutton > excellence scholarship ($9K or 11K) > DA

My DD is also DA/Kelley and Hutton. What is ACE?

The ACE program stands for Advanced Curricular Experience at the IU Kelley School of Business. It is a brand new program starting in the Fall of 2014. Only a few select Direct Admit freshmen were invited. Some have suggested that it is a “Direct Admit into Kelley Honors”. But again, it’s new, so not many people can explain exactly what is involved or how the curriculum differs, etc

Hi ucmom1. Hutton Honors College and direct admit to Kelley are not mutually exclusive - your son can (and should) do both. As a member of the Hutton Honors College he will be able to take honors business classes in addition to classes offered through Hutton. He will have all of the advantages of both. Not sure if that was what you were asking.

Thanks for the replies.
