Keeping a Car at USC

So I'm moving to LA in the next couple weeks and I'm going to get a parking pass at USC. I didn't have the money before really so I can't get a pass to Parking Lot B(?) near my residence hall (Fluor Tower). The remaining available two areas are Parking Lot D (near North Residential College) or the Parking Center across I-110.

If I get one at the Parking Center it'll save me about $125 or so (I forget off the top of my head but it's around there).
The walking distance increase isn't too bad, it's about another maybe two-three blocks worth.

What advice can anyone give me? I've never been to the campus because of money and so I'm really not sure how far the distance actually is. I do see myself driving a bit, to get to work and to get to my friend's place (a friend of mine is moving to LA nearby).

I'm not lazy or anything so I wouldn't mind walking too much. It's also a time management thing though. If it in reality takes another 15 mins to get to UPX then I don't know if it's worth it y'know?

Any help/advice/thoughts would be appreciated! Thanks!

I’m mainly interested in the extra distance. I looked into the distance to Parking Lot D and it’s around 2000 ft. From my house to the end of my street ist 2450ft. And I think that that is nothing. It’s just is that is that extra distance significant, especially with the traffic?
