When is this class supposed to be taken if you are an accounting major? Double major of accounting & finance?
I’m taking it 2nd semester of my sophomore year. The only pre-reqs are A201 and A202, so you can take it before I-Core. I would guess that most students take it right after finishing I-Core though. I’d just talk to an advisor if you need scheduling advice

DS3 took A201 and A202 during the summer after freshman year. He then took A311 and A312 during his
sophomore year. When he interviewed for IBW, his interviewers were taking A311 after I-core. Half way through the interview, they started to realize that their interviewee knew more about accounting than they did. He majors in Finance with a minor in Math. But, he seems to be more interested in A311, A312, and A422. The solid accounting background was helpful during his internship.
