We came into the admissions process with our child looking to go to Emory and then apply to Goizueta for accounting. Applied to other schools also, but Emory was first choice (older child went there, so we are familiar with it).

Wound up applying also to IU and got accepted to Kelly. Waiting to hear from Emory. Getting into Kelly now beats wondering if they'd get into Goizueta in 2 years. And IU has a 5 year program to get the required hours for the CPA exam. Emory said they are looking to develop that.

Any thoughts on Kelly / IU vs. Goizueta / Emory? Comparable reputation? Kelly is much larger - do you get lost in the sea of people (that was another plus for Emory / goizueta - smaller school). I hear the buildings / campus are as nice as Emory.

A key point for me is will they get a job when they graduate.

That is exactly many top business students come to IU.

Most business students have no problem at IU. The more introvert type may have an issue.

Kelley has excellent placement record. If your kid got into Emory, I think there should be no problem. You can search for previous posts or wait for others to reply. The following are links of interest.
