Well these are my top three schools, although I have not been accepted to any. I applied ED to Scripps and as of right now I do not know what to think. On one hand, I had an great interview, sent awesome recommendations, sent them many updated achievements, etc. but on the other hand my GPA UW is a 3.6, I have a combined SAT score of a 1240, and my rank is 170/528. As of right now, I can't tell what my chances are. I have a family friend who is an alumni at Kenyon and gives a lot of money every year. This alumni decided to help me out and write a recommendation, so I may have a slightly better chance there even if my stats are so-so. Bucknell...I have visited it and had an interview. I also have sent them updated achievements, etc. but again my stats are so-so. With the decisions being mailed in early Feb. I am starting to wonder what my outcome will be concerning Scripps and then of course my other top 2 choices. Could CC people give me some feedback on Kenyon Vs Bucknell Vs Scripps? I guess I am in love with all three and all seem to have great foreign language/classics/philosophy/english programs. Just looking to see what people have to say. Which one would you choose if "hypothetically" you got into all three. Who would you say gives the best fin. aid? Let me know any good/bad things you have heard. I am just very anxious to hear the decisions and forums like this ease my anxiety just a little. Sorry if I post things like this a lot, but I just am having a hard time relaxing about the whole process. I enjoy feedback and I am addicted to CC hehe so feel free to post whatever you want.

Well, Valuable, you already know which one is my favorite. :P But how do I ignore a title with Scripps in it?

Have you already visited all three? And if Scripps accepts you, your choice is made. It is, after all, ED II.

I don't know much about Bucknell, but I've heard a lot about Kenyon's English program being excellent.

Scripps and Bucknell are very good schools but it would be very difficult to beat Kenyon in the cluster of departments you list above.
