So I have been getting 3.5 - 3.6 ish GPA's throughout my high school career. Since my school is on a trimester system, I have already sent my Fall term grades(a 3.533 gpa) to USC on the application so they haven't asked me for mid-year reports. BUT my school automatically sends all winter term grades to all the colleges that we apply to.

I have slacked off a little...but definitely not much(something like studying 2 hours instead of 4 hours a night). The problem is all my AP classes have been getting really hard(Multi, Physics, Econ).I'm expecting a 3.0 ish GPA(maybe even a little lower...but I doubt it). Our term ends in a few days and the winter grades will probably be mailed to USC at the earliest in 2 weeks?

Assuming that I do get a 3.0 ish GPA...is that gonna affect my decision? I'm guessing they will be REALLY busy this month since decisions are just coming out...but I'm pretty scared right now...

Btw(not trying to sound elitist or anything...seriously) I go to a prestigious east coast prep school...so a 3.0 GPA is obviously not a 3.0 GPA at most other schools in the country. My college counselor told me add about .3 to .5 to our GPA and you'll roughly get a unweighted GPA at other schools.
