What exactly is this?

its basically competitions with question rangin from music to history to math. Its actually quite fun. It is also known as quiz bowl I believe.

Yes. It's great, especially when they ask about sports and weightlifting. Those nerds would go down like flies if more questions were like that :D ( and of course, my team would make nationals)

yes lol. i'm part of the team. last year we won ONE match and lost the other 5. we were ranked 2nd to last in our division. this year, we were undefeated and ranked 2nd in our county. :D yayy. lol. i really love it.. it's soooo fun. i'm looking forward to next year!

lol when I read the thread title I thought that you were talking about an actual bowl, I figured that you use it to put stuff you need to remember.

There's the Knowledge Master Open as well. That's where you get like five students together and take tests on a computer. It wasn't that fun, but we got three hours out of class and free snacks. :) We had it twice a year. Everyone in the grade had to take a test and the five top scorers got to be on the team.

I was also on the quiz bowl team which I absolutely LOVED. I miss it a lot. I hope I can be on the team next year.

We're on ly like 5 or 6 on the team. We jsut meet mondays and wednesdays at lunch. Its really fun, and the other guys in the team are awesome people. We are actually not that bad, we've won our fair share of games. Last year we got to travel to Panama to play against a bunch of other centralmerican schools.

the name is kinda wired :Knowledge Bowl! It doesn't really make sense.

Ahhh! Knowledge Bowl was one of the highlights of high school. It was so fun. My team made nationals my senior year (where we were thoroughly crushed)
