So I'm a little uncertain on the language placement form. I have been taking Spanish for 4 years now and we have a very strong program at my school. I took the AP Spanish Language test and hope to score a 4 or a 5. Where do you think this would rank on the 1 to 5 scale with which Stanford asks us to rate our abilities? I'm just confused by what their standard of "excellent" is. Fluent/native speaker? 5 material on the AP? One of the best students in the class? Anyone else have this problem?

I took it for 3 years in an ok program. I put donw 2/5 if that is any help. I dont hink it matters what you check, it just helps them initially figure out what kind of placement must be done

bump- how about relation to AP scores? 5 on AP =? 4 =? thanks!
