So, I was browsing some college guidebooks and I noticed that for most higher tier schools 4 years of a language are reccomended. I however, am in a somewhat different position. Basically, I took Latin I in 8th Grade, Latin II in 9th, and my was skipped ahead to AP Latin Poetry for 10th grade. Therefore, I effectively completed every Latin class my school had to offer before junior year. With a very busy schedule otherwise I was unable to fit another language or two. Thus, will this hurt me at all, I know it shouldn't but I just want to make sure it doesn't look like I didn't "take all possible opportunities".

I doubt it will affect you much as long as the rest of your classes is solid. After all, it is obvious that you are not getting out of it just to take some academically soft class. From what I see on this board, and from my son's situation, a lot of people run into a similar problem with scheduling. After all, there is only that many classes you can take. Yes, some supplement it by taking classes in local colleges, but my son, for example, will end up with having 5 extra on-line classes just to meet the graduatiuon requirements as it is, no room for extra German.
