Laptop backpack and earbuds

I need to buy a laptop backpack and earbuds for my Dell XPS m1530.

I am considering the High Sierra Access, Swiss Gear Synergy and Targus CityGear for the backpack. Which would be the best?

I want to buy the earbuds from either Koss, Sony, Creative, or Sennheiser.
I cant spend more than $30. Can someone please recommend a model fitting those two criteria?

Thanks in advance.

30$ for both?

$30 for earbuds
$50-100 for backpack

I have these earbuds from Sony, and while they're not studio grade, they beat quite a few $20 earbuds...

I've had this backpack for two years- it's really well made. Unfortunately, it's not entirely waterproof (the bottom is, but you can't be out in a hurricaine with it on your back. Drizzle to moderate rain for a few minutes is more than fine, the backpack just absorbs it a bit). I paid $30 for it. Compared to my $50 Swiss gear, which is falling apart after a little less than a year...

FYI

Wenger SwissGear Synergy Backpack Review

For my audio needs, I'm rather partial towards a pair of these: Newegg.com - SENNHEISER HD 280PRO 3.5mm Connector Circumaural PROFESSIONAL Headphone ;/

In all seriousness, check out Shures - I've heard Shure earbuds are pretty good.

Get skull candy headphones. They are really good quality for the price, like $25 or $30 i think

Earbuds: V-Moda Bass-Freq. They are the best headphones I've ever used.

my sierra bag pack was like $20-$25 can't remember. It was cheap, comfortable and tough. Unfortunately the color was bright neon green which is the only downside.

As for earphone I use creative's not sure which type. it's the $20ish ones. Not bad...

"Unfortunately the color was bright neon green"

Keeps someone from walking off with it by mistake :)

Did you receive your XPS m1530 yet? I have one, and they give you a free pair of $30ish creative ear buds. They're pretty good, too.

They also give you a durable soft case, leather CD case, remote control, and Lord of the Rings Online haha.

I'm fine with my $10 philips earbuds. They're not pretty, and mine are broken and fixed with scotchtape, so the sound quality isn't as great as it once was, but they're very good for their price if you're not a sound connoisseur.

I was careful to get extra-bass ones to avoid the tinny-cheap-earbud effect, though.

I have that backpack (the SwissGear Synergy one) and it is amazing. It isn't the cheapest, but I can't imagine a better one. It has thick padding to protect the computer as well as the padded straps make it comfy to carry even fully loaded. There are pockets seemingly everywhere, giving you a place for everything. Before this one, I had a cheaper one, which wore out in only one semester (zippers sticking or breaking, gaps in the seams). The Swiss Gear one is of great quality and still looks brand new after one semester, like it will last forever.

I'll stop singing its praises now. It is just that I love my backpack!
