I just joined this forum today and am really excited to be making my first post. I have been reading alot of the threads and didn't see an answer to the following question: Does anyone know which schools will be having Las Vegas and/or San Francisco auditions (in the unified style) this year? Thanks for your help!

That's the list of schools participating in Unifieds. Do you mean schools other than those? Presumably, your S or D has already sent in their applications so I'm curious as to why they wouldn't have already scheduled their auditions.

Just wanted to add, as is stated on the linked site, that the Unifieds will not be making a stop in San Francisco this year, but will be in Las Vegas. I know that Tisch does not participate in the Unifieds but does often hold simultaneous auditions in a few cities, during their regional tour. San Francisco is a stop on their tour this year.

I agree to check with individual schools (though it is very late and applications should be in pretty much at most places). Some schools schedule auditions off site such as in San Fran and not part of the Unifieds. For instance, I have clients auditioning in SF for Marymount Manhattan. AlwaysAMom mentioned NYU has auditions in SF (but it is past the app deadline to apply). Many schools (not all) require an application to be filed before even allowing you to schedule the audition appointment. Example: Marymount Manhattan.

For Unifieds, you may want to consider LA.

Yes, the applications are all in, we've done some auditions at the schools, and have most of the remaining auditions finalized. Living in CA, I was just hoping we could do at least a few of the auditions closer to home. Unfortunately, the LA Unifieds fall on the weekend of my D's annual dance concert, so we are only able to get in one (trying to coordinate a second one) that works with her schedule.

Most schools do not seem to be going to Las Vegas (at least the school websites of the schools to which she applied do not list Las Vegas as an option) so I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything. Also, friends of my D told her they were able to do certain schools in SF last year. I guess that is just not an option this year. I was just hoping to eliminate another long flight, if possible, and save a little money. Oh well!
