Just go AP scores in. When I signed up for Orientation I did not see an option for taking a Latin Language Placement Exam. I wondered if this exam was indeed offered. Also, when I go to my planner to try and see a list of placement exams, I can't change any of that.

Also, if I got a 5 in Calculus AB, do I need to take the Math Placement Exam? Thanks...

You do not need to take the Math Placement Exam if you got a 5 on Calc AB or a 4 or 5 on Calc BC. They'll give you credit for Math 31A with a 5 in Calc AB.

Thanks. Does anyone know anything about the Latin Placement Exam (if it exists) or maybe who to call?

as for the latin placement, i called in and they said there was no test for latin learners. u basically can seek counseling with the classics dept. and then decide which level you're up for. u don't have to worry about it for orientation

Sweet. I hate how a 4 or 5 is require for the FL for Latin, but a 3 - 5 for the other languages...
