its an online dictionary which translates words, gives declention, conjugation, singular/plural, masculine/feminine, nom, gen, dat, acc, abl and has just saved my booty on a latin translating assignment, and i thought id share it with my beloved CC community! enjoy

there's another one out there that's called "Words" or something, i think you can get it off of cnet, but i cant remember where i got it exactly. it completely parses sentences, is quick to load bc its dos based, and is extremely effective. the main problem though with doing this is that books like pharr's aeneid are written because you cant just use a latin dictionary. things like zeugma and the 35 words you'll see after a word in a ditionary are what make books like that good to use. sure it might help you work through the structure and parsing a sentence or something, but as regular use they do more bad than good.

if you REALLY want to just cruise your way through ap vrgil, the best way is to use a literal translation, the simple act of placing words does 90% of the job pharr does because he pretty much translates everything for you and defines all the words. It isn't what your teacher wants you doing, but it can help a lot, needless to say.

oh and where do you get that literally translated aeneid? its sort of hard to find, but i have the text document that has all books you translate for AP -- so if you want them, feel free to IM me (graphite5B).
