Lawrenceville Freshie here. Ask mee.

From the current Lawrenceville Prospectus:

Applicants: 1929
Enrolled: 244

I think the Avg SSAT scores are in the mid 80s (that’s what I have in a spreadsheet that I prepared when my child first started considering BS), but I can’t be entirely certain where I obtained that info.

From the matriculation data, we won’t know the acceptance rate without knowing how many they made offers to and what the yield is.

Well, I don’t know how updated this is (2009 ed. but obviously the stats are older), but according to the Porter Sargent’s Private School Handbook here are L’ville’s stats:

Admission: Very selective admin

 • 245/yr Bdg. 179 Day 66
 • Accepted 22%
 • Yield 64%
 • Endowment: $270,000,000

No SSAT scores though:(

Using these admit numbers the yield is 57.5%. (1929 * 0.22 * 0.575 = 244). With that endowment if they give out more FA, they can attract a few more geniuses to improve their SSATs to the HADES level.
