Thanks

Im in LEAP right now, and I think its great. Its a great way to get adjusted to the college life. You're still in college, but with LEAP, its a little more organized.

Every pride has a mentor who's been in the program before. This mentor takes you to most classes, so you really get to know the campus. Also, LEAP focuses on team building. The program pays for a couple of fun nights/days throughout the summer. For example, pizza parties, and were heading off to an amusement park one of these days.

I highly recommend it.

great. thanks for the info. sounds like a great program. How many credits are you taking? what courses? how many students are there in your clases?

thanks for the info

Im taking 6 credits. A speech class that meets every day for 3 credits, a business class that meets 3 days a week for 2 credits, and a seminar for another credit.

Each pride consists of 24 kids, and you have every class with the same 24 people. So, my speech and seminar have 24 kids in it. However, my business class is a combination of 3 prides, so it has like 70 kids in it.

my son will be applying for summer 08'. the leap program sounds like a terrific way to start out at a school like PSU.

when does the summer term begin and end?

thanks and good luck to you. enjoy the fall term and the football games!

move in day was July 1st, and finals are August 17. So, just a little 6 week program.
