That's when they bring in all the "special" cases. It's a real zoo. ;)

You'll enjoy it. And I'd bet yours will be a better time than the buddies back home ... if you want it to be. And you'll be the expert to a whole bunch of newbies come fall.

You'll need to keep up on your studies. It's not kick back time, and ifn you decide it's miller time too often, you'll be back home looking for your buds come fall. Good luck, make your parents' investment a good one.

I am going to do the LEAP program in the engineering pride.

I got accepted today. I need to find out some more stuff on it before I decide to go. My parents are not too thrilled about it either.

I was accepted to UP a week ago today!!!! I have to do summer session......i have a question though, what is the difference between summer session and LEAP? thanks

LEAP is where you go to classes together as a group or something. Do yourself a favor and say 'no' to LEAP. You get more freedom as a non-LEAP person.

Maybe there are fewer classes to choose from with LEAP, but I would think it could be a good way to bond with other new students. It depends on what you're looking for from the summer experience.

Im doing LEAP, leap you pick to take 2 classes. i understand in those 2 classes you be with about 35 ppl. these ppl are always together and in the same dorm building. the two classes they do stuff related to each other. i high percentage of 1st year kids take up the LEAP program. im looking forward to it.

I think LEAP is dumb, but that's just me. It's a very high school-type approach to college life.
