It has always been on my bucketlist to learn French (I did spanish in high school), and I’ve been trying to start this summer and get as much done as possible until the fall semester starts (I will continue to learn but I will have 100x less time than righ now). I know learning a langauge takes time but I guess it’s been going slower than I want right now with progress. I know it’s hard to try to learn myself without any guidance so I wanted to ask if any of you have any tips/suggestions/advice on regards to my methods and what I can do to learn the language more effectively. Thanks!
So far:
I started Late May but took 2 weeks off bc I was in Spain (trying to test out my spanish lmao), so I’ve been working on it diligently for roughly almost 6 weeks so far. I’ve been using Duolingo (I’m a bit more than 2/3 done my french tree), listening to France 24 News, and doing Flashcards on my iphone for vocab. And also the online web to google any grammar questions i have (and searching for advice and tips too)- which hasn’t been very productive for me.
Again I would appreciate any advice! This is something i’ve wanted to do for a long time
