I think early April is for the program. They said they’d be interviewing throughout March.
This is so weird, how have none of us heard back aside from two? (Congrats again to those two)
I bet most of us are finding out this week. When I read the thread from last year, some of the scholars who had the interview knew they got in 15 min after the interview. So that part doesn’t take as long.
@smarttaytay When you applied to your colleges, how did LEDA financial aid come in? It said on their website that you choose 12 colleges to apply to, do they cover the application fee? If someone is applying to a lot of Top tier colleges , I would imagine the fees would stack up.

Did any of you apply to the Princeton Summer Journalism Program? They just emailed me to tell me I am in round two! The program is right after LEDA, which would be cool to do both and just stay Princeton for another week.
Just got notified about the interview!!! There is still a lot of time to get notified so please don’t get stressed and just focus on school

I have a theory that they are probably giving interview by region, so maybe they might send interview notifications to kids on the East Coast first because it’s closer to Princeton and maybe do them last on the West Coast. It’s just a theory

Im from the east coast (New York to be exact) and still haven’t gotten an email, but I think everyone should be notified by this weekend/next week

It’s funny because I have the notifications on for when they tweet something, and today they were tweeting a lot. I was so frustrated lol.
I am from New York also and I haven’t heard anything. I called today and Iris said they should be done by the first week of April so we still have a few weeks to wait.

Maybe I got rejected Bc I got an email from Philip to resend my scores Bc they didn’t get them so wouldn’t that mean they’re reviewing them? And then I never got an email after he confirmed he got them so…
I’ve tried emailing them. Still no response.
I think that maybe it’s based on who submitted the application first?? That would make sense.
Not to judge anyone, but I feel like most people would submit a little later than sooner ( I submitted on the deadline day)
