And I got my email saying that I made it to the interview stage roughly 2 weeks ago if anyone was wondering. My interview was on the Thursday before the last and it took them a week and a day to email me about my acceptance. Good luck!!
I think this week is for the last applicants. Like they’ll do interviews and stuff and then next week they’ll see who made it for sure.

Yeah, if you think about it, it would be impossible/a lot of work for the small staff at LEDA to email the applicants about interview dates because the majority of them would conflict. So I guess the rolling basis keeps everything organized-ish, except the downfall is that it makes uninformed applicants worry about the process )’:

Alright, so a FB page is set up for Cohort 12 members (hope to see you all there!). It’s called LEDA Cohort 12, and it obviously took an obscene amount of time to name lol. I created a FB account for the purpose of LEDA, and we’re all tryna get together there so we can group chat more efficiently. I feel as if I may be social media illiterate, but I think people should be able to message the group even if it’s closed. If there are problems, just message me on this site. Good luck everyone!

I started to consider a different option for my summer in case I don’t get in. I want to get into Leda more than I’ve ever wanted anything. However, the reality is that I have a high chance of being rejected. If rejected, I’m going to take American Politics and General Psychology at the local community college. However, the classes are filling up really quickly and I’m worried that I’ll enroll too late. I emailed Leda about it but I’m a bit worried. Do you guys think I should just enroll in the classes and then drop them if I’m accepted?
Yes! That’s the best option. You can’t get penalized for dropping the classes. Just play your cards right and enroll like you said and Handle things based off of LEDAs response accordingly
@shanabanana922 Looking through last year’s LEDA thread, some students applied for the SSI program, which sent out acceptance letters before LEDA had. Once the applicants of LEDA had been accepted into the program, they either dropped out of the other programs that they were accepted to, or went to another program that they were accepted to. I hope this helps your situation.
@Lakerdrop24 @melllbrooo Thanks for the advice! I’m just going to enroll in the classes today. There’s a $20 fine but I think I have two weeks to pay it so I think it will be fine.
