Maybe they’ll notify more people this Friday, and then the last wave next Friday. What on twitter makes you think that? @shanabanana1
I feel sad because I felt really qualified
If you don’t mind me asking, what are your gpa and scores? @Lakerdrop24
@ConfusedContent I can’t send the links right now because my school’s wifi doesn’t allow me to go on Twitter. I’ll send the links once I find another source of wifi. I think that there are actually two more weeks because they stated like four days ago that there are two weeks left. I’m not sure if they included last week in that statement though. There was another post where they stated that they’d be notifying applicants throughout April, I think. I’ll post the links later.
@Lakerdrop24 Don’t lose hope! They’re still accepting people into the interview round.
Same!! My gpa is mediocre (not amazing, but not bad…) but Im very extracirricular activities-invested and I think my essays were really good, but whatever happens happens.
Have you heard anything yet? @shanabanana1
Thank you, I’ll try not to. Hey @shanabanana does your school offer post secondary, because I’m taking General psychology and general sociology my senior year at Kent
@ConfusedContent Still nothing.
@Lakerdrop24 It doesn’t really offer it but I enrolled at the community college about 45 minutes away so that I could take classes there. It’s free because I’m in high school but I still have to pay a $20 fee for student health insurance. And, of course, I have to pay for books. I’ve taken Student Leadership Development, Writing and Composition, Advanced Composition and Critical Thinking, Philosophy, Intro to Public Speaking, and World History to the 1600s.
@lirbykco99 My GPA is pretty good and I have many extracurriculars. However, after rereading my essays, I see that they were pretty bad. I’m also worried because my family makes like $59,000 a year.
Ahhh, my family makes a lot less, which is one of the factors on why I thought I would pass part II.
My family makes less than $45,000, but the average annual income of the family that the students came from was around $35,000. The numbers only make me more nervous about the reason that I haven’t heard back about passing Part II of the LEDA application. In all honesty, the only things that we, the people who have not been notified for passing Part II, is wait and see what happens in the upcoming weeks. Also, if you guys are trying to do something this summer that will boost your resumes for college would be to try and look at other camps and internships. I have also noticed that many of the applicants are notified around 6:00 (Eastern-Time), which would be a good time to check your emails for anything from LEDA. Good luck to all the applicants, who are still waiting for a response from LEDA! Also, congratulations to the students, who have been accepted into the LEDA program!
Any news?
I feel so unwanted right now.
It looks like somebody on Twitter got accepted yesterday.
This is the tweet I was referring to earlier.

This is the autoresponse I received when I emailed the first time:
"Thank you for your email.
Currently, LEDA’s recruitment and admissions team is reviewing LEDA Applications for Part II. We will contact you via email and phone if you make it to the interview round. Applicants will be notified of admission decisions throughout the month of April. For further information regarding the LEDA Application process, please visit https://leda.fluidreview.com/ . Due to the volume of inquires we cannot respond to all individual questions but we will reach out as soon as decisions are made. If you are missing any documents we will contact you directly.
If you are contacting us regarding other LEDA matters, we will respond to your email within 24 hours. Thank you for your patience."
Wellll they called us impressive so we should all be very proud of that not everyday we hear that as students or teenagers in general. I say we all just chill out enjoy the beautiful month of April (even though it’s snowing here in Cleveland, what the heck!) And probably like @melllbrooo said look for other opportunities before those pass as well
@shanabanana1 I’ve been feeling unwanted to especially feeling like LEDA is my best and probably only chance at getting into a tremendous college, but you know no matter what happens there’s a plan for us all and we just have to stick to our guns which have gotten us this far and define ourselves rather letting anybody or any organization such as LEDA define us. Some of the world’s best Leaders came from nothing. Most if not all lol
