Hey everyone. I have been stalking this thread since January. I just received my confirmation email today, so I’ve made it into LEDA!! Supper excited to finally meet everyone. Can someone inform me on the fb group chat so I can talk with everyone who was accepted?
@ilovesinging hey! Congrats. Yeah on Facebook, the group is LEDA Cohort 12. Just search it and it will pop up and then you can join it and someone will accept you.

I haven’t gotten any news but I’m certain that I was rejected. I just wish I’d had the chance to speak with them first.
They responded to my Tweet. They said that they haven’t necessarily notified everyone who made it into the interview round. I’m guessing that by this, they mean that if for some reason people who have been accepted can’t go, then those who haven’t heard are backups. I don’t know. Just speculating.
If they’re still interviewing, then I guess their order is best to worst. I wonder what their algorithm is.

Im guessing we should just keep checking daily around 3pm est or 6pm est. I looked on twitter at the people who got accepted and most recieved their acceptance letters around that time

Me too. I doubt I’ll hear anything though.
lets try keeping things positive guys. we can think, “YES I have gone the distance and have been noticed on a national level by a prestigious program. being accepted into part two and even communicating with others to help them through this common stress that we share.” or we can turn negatively and think, “man I’ve worked and gotten nowhere I’ve been waiting so patiently and still I’m not good enough to get into this program. I must suck soooooo hard. not even gonna get excepted, just waiting for the inevitable demise of rejection.” NO! what we need is some inspiration people, we need some good vibes to flow though our vein, and some positive words. we can do this, i know too well like the rest of those that haven’t been accepted, “don’t lose hope” has seemed to lose its value. so lets make a new one that will inspire us to actually NOT LOSE HOPE. so we can all JUST DO IT!
