oh
CAN WE JUST KNOW ALREADY
ikr!!! but if i got rejected i dont want to know lol
i wasn’t really expecting anything today but they do send out emails on sundays so im anxious for tomorrow
haha I feel you, no news is better than bad news
how many people are in that fb group? (to those who got accepted)
i checked and there are 29 members @Iamnumber4fan
let’s just stay positive! @da2949
it’s soo hard to!!! @Iamnumber4fan. i see it as the more people i see getting accepted the less space there is for me
just curious…for those of you who have been rejected what are your summer plans or options for great summer programs that still have open applications
@shanabanana1 Did you get to have an interview?
@da2949 I plan on taking community college classes, working on my prep project, and working as a lifeguard over the summer.
@stillistrive No. Unfortunately, LEDA did not decide to interview me.
I am honestly sure I didn’t get in because there were a lot of complications during my interview. My phone was so bad that she (the interviewer) wasn’t able to hear me clearly, so I had to hang up in order to find another phone. It was during school and the students were so loud that she even asked me to find a quiet place. Even though she was so sweet, I was shaking the whole time and my answers were all BS. All I am waiting for right now is my rejection letter, I don’t want to wait anymore. What did you guys say when you email to LEDA regarding your application status?
@da2949 I am also wondering what other summer programs are still accepting applicants (especially scholarships applications)…
@stillistrive In my first email, I explained that I was worried about my application and asked that they contact me with the status of it. In my second email, I told them about how the community college classes I wanted to take if I didn’t get into Leda were filling up and asked that I receive my application status soon. I’m wondering if I accidentally came off as pushy, which is the opposite of what I intended lol. I wouldn’t try emailing them though. I don’t think they’re really reading them at the moment because they’re probably receiving so many. The student from my school who got in emailed about something else and they didn’t respond.
@shanabanana1 I have only emailed them once and that was about the program dates. A girl in my school emailed LEDA about her applications status and then she received a rejection email a day after.
@stillistrive I guess you should just wait then. I know somebody on the forum got an interview email the day after emailing. However, I’m thinking that it’s a coincidence. I don’t think that emailing will hurt you. However, it probably won’t help you either.
@stillistrive If you get rejected, I recommend CollegePoint. I joined that and it seems like it might be helpful. It’s not a camp though.
True. If I get rejected I will get rejected. If I get in I will get in. Thank you for the advice (
