im applying to Human Ec's Policy Analysis and management major
Cornell has been my first choice since forever. Please Chance me!

Your SAT scores are rather low, but otherwise you have a very good chance. Apply ED, and I would say stop worrying so much.

Oh and also, don’t rely too much on CC. Its obvious you’re a good candidate, so just apply and see what happens. Nobody on CC can tell you more than this.

I am a Chinese and i will apply for college this year as well. you will totally get into cornell with your SAT scores!!! A lot students i know in China get into Cornell with 1950-2050 in RD. ED is pretty safe for you.

You mention legacy a lot, so did both of your parents attend Cornell as undergrads? If that is the case your chances rise sharply. As for athlete, are you being recruited? If you are both a legacy and an athlete, and you don’t require financial aid, your chances would be very good,

@ 2college2college: thanks for the reply, Unfortunately, only my dad attended Cornell, i hope that’s considered legacy, and no im not being recruited so i guess im not an athlete either. Plus im also applying for financial aid but i don’t see how that applies, as Cornell is need blind for permanent residents.

@ wellliu, bluebayou, rsaxena: thanks for the reply!
