Lehigh and Villanova dorms

hey I just wanted to ask if any student can say how are the dorms and their condition in Lehigh? I recently saw some pictures in internet of a Villanova dorm and I was terrified they really looked awful :(

My son and I visited Lehigh and Villanova. The dorms at Lehigh (that they showed us) were very nice....nicer than nova. However, both have beautiful campuses.

My daughter is a sophomore at Lehigh and I checked out the pictures on the Nova website. The room sizes seem similar and the furniture looks almost identical (must come from the same industrial furniture supplier). I must say that I have been to schools where the dorm rooms are just plain larger than both Lehigh and Nova.

My daughter never complained about the how the building was maintained -- trash was alway picked up, bathrooms kept clean and so on.

Freshman are housed together in certain dorms at Lehigh. No AC in those dorms. Don't know if newer upperclass apartments have AC. She lives in a sorority house this year. Also no AC.

is having no AC seem to be a problem? I guess it should be.

It's pretty toasty the end of August and early September -- humid, too.

Actually, I personally loved Villanova's dorms. They weren't bad at all. The setting is amazing around the freshman dorms. I mean, they aren't gorgeous, but they weren't bad at all.

I would say Villanova's were a tad bit nicer than Lehigh, in my opinion.
:O)

Which is the nicest of the Lehigh Freshman dorms?

I'll leave it to others to comment on dorms available to all freshmen, but it's worth noting that freshment that are part of South Mountain College live in a nice upper classmen dorm.
