<p>D still can't decide where to go...driving us crazy. She knows all the great things about Lehigh but since her brother will a senior there next year feels like it is "his school" and won't be hers. She was at his orientation, his moving in, family days, etc. S is an engineering major and she'll be a liberal arts major. I'd rather she attend Lehigh because of the fantastic time my son has had there. Thoughts???</p>
<p>I loved Lehigh and my son was accepted there (with a scholarship too!). He decided to to to PSU - he really liked it there and with even more scholarship money, he will have money for grad school or to start his “real” life.
Bottom line, let her go where SHE wants. I remember thinking that if it was my choice, I would have picked Lehigh, but it’s not my choice!</p>
<p>Lehigh is a better school academically, but where does she like better? She should follow her gut</p>
<p>I agree - she should go where she thinks she will be happiest. Look at the programs in which she’s interested at both schools, make a second visit if possible, and then decide. UDel has a good honors program. A few years ago, a prelaw student turned down Harvard for a full ride at UDel Honors, got a Rhodes scholarship, and went to Harvard Law. A lot of the experience is what the student makes of it.</p>
