Letter from Fordham

I just got a letter from fordham saying "Welcome from the Fordham Community"

It then goes on to talk about the commencement for the class of 2016, and how they are looking forward to meeting me this spring.

This concerns me since I'm really leaning towards attending Rutgers, so why does this letter sound like I have enrolled. Just two days ago, I did sign up my student account just to see the status of my financial aid with fordham since I was interested how much they would offer me. I never made a deposit or anything of that matter, so I'm not enrolled in the class right?

You are not enrolled until you send in your acceptance and deposit. If you are at all nervous, you can call admissions.

Its another attempt to welcome you to the Fordham family. Relax. You are not obligated to make a final decision on where you will attend college until May 1. Most kids get their list down to “the final three” in April and visit those schools again during that month and then make their decision. For some its gut wrenching and difficult. For others its simple and easy.

Fordham welcomes all of its admitted students and hopes to see you in September moving in as well as at Commencement in 2016. :->

If you pick Rutgers, fine. Best of luck.
