letter grade for prereq?

Okay I tried looking this up in the forums but couldn't find a definite answer.
I'm trying to transfer to Davis as a science major. One of the prereqs for the major I am considering is Speech and I took that a year ago with the Pass/No Pass option and got a P. I'm concerned because since it is a prerequisite, not simply just a GE requirement, and I didn't take it with a letter grade that admissions may not accept it?
If this isn't the case, then could I possibly take another prereq class (Statistics) with the Pass/No Pass option? I've already completed the Calculus course and I am just so completely done with math at this point that busting my ass in my two science courses as well as a math course this semester sounds absolutely dreadful.
Any help is appreciated. Again, sorry if this has been answered. :)

Calculus SERIES*** not course. the entire freaking series. haha

Go to the specific department’s site and see if they have a policy against it.

I also took a prereq for P/NP. I don’t think that it will hurt you as long as you completed your other prereqs with high grades. I think it could hurt you if it was an important prereq-like the calc series for an econ major or something like that.

But as long as your department accepts it, you should be fine. Also, if you are trying to TAG you should make sure that their agreement allows P/NP for prereqs.
