<p>I'm asking a teacher who I've had for freshman Algebra II/Trig, Sophomore Precalc Honors, and I'm his Teacher Assistant as a Junior this year for a letter of rec. I feel like he has a lot to say about me as a learner. Is this ok? Because it seems like students are strongly encouraged to ask Junior or Senior Year core teachers.</p>
<p>Unless a school specifies that they want jr or sr teacher LORs only, it’s fine. The main objective is to get the best LOR possible. Both of my kids had a similar situation, a soph year teacher who they were a TA for during sr year.</p>
