I asked one of my professor to write me a recommendation letter and I was wondering if I can fax the recommendation letter to UT-Austin or does it have to be sent by the professor straight to UT?

My professor gave me my letter of recommendation yesterday so I could take it to UT in person. I'm pretty sure you can also fax the letter.
But check the website to make sure..

Both methods work.

Your prof can send or fax it in his/herself

your prof can give it to you to fax/send in yourself.

mcalvelloxx: where can i hand deliver the letter of recommendation letter? my professor gave it to me in a sealed envelope and i don't want to open it so im gonna hand deliver it sometime this week. i am applying to mccombs by the way. so would be at office of admissions?

Sorry for the late reply.

Yeah, you just take it to admissions.
I don't think it would be any different for mccombs..
But I would call just to make sure.
