I have two teachers writing my letters of recommendation for college - my AP World History teacher and my AP Environmental Science teacher. I provided both with what is called a "brag sheet" which basically described my strengths in their class, etc. However, I noticed that a lot of students were providing their resumes as well, and I was wondering whether or not I should do the same. Would having a resume allow them to write a better letter of recommendation or are they okay with just the brag sheet?

What’s the difference?

My brag sheet is specific to the class - the questions were like “On a scale of 1 to 5, rank the creativity you displayed in this teacher’s class” while a resume would be more along the lines of showing what jobs I’ve held, what clubs I’ve been in, etc.

what bad could come from adding a resume

Don’t stress too much about it. I think just a brag sheet is fine but if you want to attach a resume, okay. Just as long as they have some ideas on what to write.
