Tenk,
You have a great profile and many top colleges would be proud to admit you. Don't be discouraged, and work hard on any remaining applications. Good luck to you!

i got in too!

ahhhh!

jhenry0514:

That's great news! My D is a freshman this year, and her friend is waiting to hear on his ED1 application for Vassar this year. Can you describe what the envelope looks like?

Congrats again!

I JUST GOT IN. I'm so excited.
I'm from New Jersey. I got a big envelope and it says Vassar admissions on the outside. So excited to meet the class of 2012!!! Congrats to everyone who got in!

Gah...I'm thinking I'm going to get rejected or deferred...My stats are no where near as impressive as other fellow Vassar applicants on this board...

Just have to wait and see!

i got in and other than higher SATs I dont have much of anything on Tenk. But i'm from nj too and it's hard because we send the most kids to school out of any state.

haha im from new jersey too.

Congratulations to people who got in! And to those who are rejected don't worry, you will definitely end up somewhere you'll like.
Also if you have time, can you please post stats? I will also apply ED2 and would like to evaluate my chances..
Thanks..

Gah, I hope mine comes today... lives in the SW

Still no letter today. My son emailed the office, and they said no decisions by email or phone. I called to explain the EDII situation, and they can't tell us.

Very frustrating. Oh, well, he will have to wait another day.

Where do you your son live, adigal?

Hi,
We live in NY, about 100 miles from Vassar!! We are in a rural area, and I think our post office gets things late.
My son feels better, anyway - he got a RD acceptance today from his financial and academic safety, and a non-binding EA acceptance to an excellent small LAC, so he is thrilled that he will be going to college!! He was doubting himself!!!

accepted!~

Flybass
You got your letter? Awesome! Congrats on acceptance!!

I hope I get mine today...

Adigal
Congrats on your son's success! I was also admitted to my back up safety school this past weekend (the college is Lewis and Clark College). So I'm totally thrilled about that and will happily go there if things don't work out with other schools.

I was also thinking about your situation and just the whole mailing process in general and I think the reason for some delays is that it is the holiday season after all, and there is a large volume of mail being sent across the nation. Idk, just a thought. Still, the fact that Flybass (who is in the midwest) got his letter before you guys who live 100 miles away is strange...

Got my acceptance letter today. Best birthday present ever =)

Gah, the mail still hasn't arrived...It's 4:40 my time...

:/

It didn't come today. I'm hopeful for tomorrow!
