Fiiiiiinally received my financial aid for summer session. I was starting to worry that I would be registering the day before class starts! We have two options for our transfer edge class, right? The computer science class and the social science research class?

How do we enroll in the transfer edge seminar? It doesn’t show up in the class list.
Does UCI offer the ability to test out of certain intro classes? Like ICS 6B: Boolean Logic? I see that they have a test for physics/writing/language but not for major specific classes.
how long do i have to stay SIR’d to more than 1 uc? Haven’t received my aid yet for another uc so i want to play it safe.
@ssm24k My friend has been going to UCSD for like 3 or so years now. He SIR’d for UCSB before getting accepted and never followed up on dropping it so… you have quite a while.

I made a group since there wasn’t one. It’s an official UCI group so you need a UCI email to join it.

@E2DuhJ I just assumed that we would get them after school starts in the fall.
@atlashoney Thanks for the response! I called admssions and they told me we get them issued to us at the transfer orientation (If you plan on attending it since it’s not mandatory). If you’re not planning on attending transfer orientation then we can get them at the bookstore once fall quarter starts (first one is free)
