Does anybody know what might happen to a JHU engineering graduate with a poor GPA (say, ~2.25)? My elder son used to receive As in high school and now he is struggling at Hopkins. I know he studies hard but the academic environment is very difficult for him and he might not be able to improve his GPA. Any comment is appreciated.

I'd encourage your son to schedule an appointment to speak with some one in the Career Center at Hopkins. They are quite helpful. I'd also suggest maybe sitting down with an advisor in the Engineering Advising Office about designing a curriculum that will best suit him. There are a ton of resources at Hopkins for struggling students, they just have to seek out the assistance.
