likely letter means..

<p>so if i got a likely letter for engineering, does that mean i have a good chance at other ivies?? i applied to yale, harvard, princeton, brown, and penn (stanford too) for engineering. so if cornell really liked my app, is there a good chance the other schools will to? or do they look for very different things?</p>

<p>One likely letter from one school is an isolated event. It has no effect on your chances at the other schools though it is an indicator that you are a competitive applicant.</p>
