are you receiving likely letter from Emory? saying that they like your scores and think that ".you will be the kind of student who has traditionnally enrolled at Emory and done well". i am curious because i don't know what it means exactly? i don't want to have false hope...for my D!

Did you apply EDII? Apparently a lot of the EDI applicants (especially those here on CC), including me, have received this later. I doubt it means much, but I guess it helps as a small spirit-booster. :]

Good Luck!

no, my D applied RD. let's keep hope! Thank you for the reply and good luck to you too!!

I got the same letter. I don't think it's a likely letter, but more of a "you're a strong applicant" letter, if that makes sense.

i applied rd for emory scholars and i got this letter

I am not completely positive, but I think it is just a form letter sent out to students with scores in Emory's ranges. Of course, it is a positive sign, but I wouldn't assume that your D has already been accepted. For reference, I received the same letter when I applied last year and I was accepted.

Best of luck to your D!
