People talked about the strategic timing of sending them earlier to match up with the holiday weekend, but yeah, they are definitely likely letters.

I got my likely letter today, and it was dated December 4th. So for those of you who have not yet received one, it appears that they are sending them in bunches after they read applications.

My son got a likely letter today - dated December 3rd.

I haven't got one yet (OOS MO, international student), so sad....

Like others have said, don't worry too much if you don't get one. I didn't get one either, and I got in EA. :p

Not getting a likely letter says absolutely nothing about your status. Getting a likely letter says keep up the good work and you're in. If you've gotten a likely letter, check out the website and try and visit (but don't have any celebrations until you get your official acceptance!). If you haven't got one, don't change whatever you're doing. Don't feel more apprehensive or sad!

Hmph...I have similar stats to the OOSers that got letters and I got nothing. I hate this process!

anyone know if decisions are released online or through the mail?

both. online earlier
