Likelyhood of Transfer Acceptance in Rutgers

I am not exactly happy with my current school and have decided I would like to transfer. My school of choice would be Rutger New Brunswick: School of Arts and Sciences

I am wondering what my chances of getting accepted with these credentials. I submitted all my transcripts, did the app, and the essay. Im only hoping the transcripts arrive before Jan 15th, 2009 the Priority Deadline, i send them out on monday via fedex from college and high school.

College: Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University
GPA: 4.0 15 credits in the Fall, will have total of 32 at the end of Spring
Activities: Eagles Flight Team, I am a Private Pilot (will be a commercial pilot by may)

High School
GPA: 92 weighted, 94 unweighted
Activities : Varsity Tennis, National Honor Society, National Spanish Honor Society, National Technical Honor Society, Key Club, Programming Club, Video Game Design Club.

Volunteer Work: Key Club, and Boy Scouts (Eagle Scout)

So what do you think my chances are of getting accepted for a transfer? I work hard and plan on keeping a 4.0 during the Spring Semester at my school. If my transcripts don't make it by the 15th am I screwed?

You have a 4.0 through 32 credits....You're in

Well....I only applied having a 4.0 with 15 credits

Right now im taking 17 credits and I plan on getting a 4.0 again.

Soooo will they even consider me with only 15credits completed?

I would be surprised if you did not get in! Good luck but I don't think you need it!

shorepilot, why are you even worried? you'll get in no doubt! =]

i'm worried that all my stuff did not make it by the priority date for transfers. Which means i have less of a chance?

if you sent all of your stuff out before the priority date, then you have nothing to worry about. Rutgers has basically every kid in NJ applying, so its going to take a while to sort out your stuff and post reciept

you're in man...no problems

Okay i just checked the application website and i sent out my 1st semester college transcripts a week and a half ago. the website says they need my transcript for college through 2008, and I sent that. It says they have my high school transcript, which was sent out a week after my college one. It says "Items Still Required: Embry-Riddle Aeron U Florida Transcript Updated Through December, 2008 "

they work late with college transcripts, but dont worry

Hey- be VERY careful that the transcript from your college has your fall grades on it. When I applied to go to rutgers I requested my transcript before grades from fall semester had come out and my college was retarded and basically mailed rutgers a blank transcript, which I only found out about like, two days before the priority deadline.

I think you'll be fine. A friend of mine actually goes to Embry-Riddle... it's in Florida, right? if so, I bet you're going to have a hard time adjusting to the new jersey winters.
