Link to UF Residence Hall Floor Plans

This link put together by Chris, a UF upperclassman will help you "prowl" around some of the dorms and look at the layouts, room configurations, etc. This list does leave out a few of the dorms, but most are here:

@jankrav,
do you recommend plastic dresser drawers under bed is you raise them up?(how high)it does not give dimensions on the link you posted.d going into rawlings this summer ,also whats the best floor ,do they get to pick??is a microwave a must and /or fridge?..and does the closet have a door??so much to learn…thank goodness i only have one kid!

courtnugator, Plastic drawers under the bed is a great idea(probably 2) or plasticbins, say 2. we put office supplies(extra filler paper, pens,etc,) in one, cleaning and paper products in one). You can put cases of water and soda under the bed…tons of room esp. if you put the bed up. I don’t know anything about rawlings, but it is supposed to be like Broward, but I don’t think it has been renovated yet, but not sure on that. Rawlings has a bus stop that your student can take to southwest rec to work out or the mall or publix. You won’t get to pick a floor for summer B, but you will get to pick for fall definitely. Microwave is a must, my S and D always had a fridge for drinks (it is soooooooo hot in the summer-no ocean breeze/center of the state) and milk for cereal and juice, water. You can buy and use summer and fall, or I think they rent them or maybe your roommate will have…(one could bring microwave, one could bring fridge and share). The closet typically has no door…you can bring a shower curtain with rings to use as a door (black works nice) if they have a bar to put the shower rings on, or tack up with push pins. My S did not use one…my D did. Any other questions, feel free to email jankrav@aol.com. I have a complete list (every conceivable thing they might need–) that you might want to start shopping the sales early.
