So I live in the greater Boston area, sent in my application in mid-December, and have not been contacted for an alumni interview. I'm not going to call admissions and make myself a nuisance seeing as the interview is optional and its their job to contact me, but I was just wondering if there was anyone else living in a large metropolitan area where there are likely lots of alums who hasn't been contacted. Also, is there any chance that I still may be contacted?

Thanks in advance, and I'm sorry for posting about something that probably has a billion threads already.

I know there are a ton of alums in my area, but I never had an interview. Don’t worry about it. I also didn’t get contacted for my Harvard interview until the day before Harvard interviewers had to turn in their write ups or whatever. Its a chill process and the timing depends entirely on whatever alum you’ve been assigned to.

Don’t worry, my son just had his interview on Saturday. The alum he met with had not been tapped to interview in several years, but apparently they have a ton of applicants for our area of Mass. Most of his friends have not been contacted yet.

i haven’t interviewed for dartmouth, but maybe there are too few alumni in my area willing to interview. i like interviewing and think it has helped my applications, but i wouldn’t stress, Millancad!
