I really hope you guys can relate to this... THERE JUST ISN'T ENOUGH TIME. There aren't enough hours in the day. Honestly, I just realized today that 2011 is almost half over... SO weird. It feels like we're only two months into it, but it's almost HALF GONE!

& the reason why I'm worried is because I haven't achieved what I want to achieve in high school yet (moved schools, bunch of other messed up stuff that makes me sad). I'll be in grade 11 next year, so it's going to either make or break me. I'm worried about college admissions... do top-tier schools want you to have been doing amazing things all through high school? I have my plans for next year & I'm confident I'll be able to act on them. But will it be too late? There isn't enough time! I'm not ready for the rest of my life...

Let’s put it this way: If I do everything I have planned for next year, will it still look bad that I didn’t have those same things in grades 9 & 10?

Unfortunately, time moves on. I hate it too.

Do something or a couple of things that you are passionate in, that you can really dedicate your time to and that you thoroughly enjoy, not something that will be another dull activity that you can put on a application. Colleges want to see dedication, and you still have two years of high school left. Keep on working hard in school and extracurricular activities.

Simple solution: build a gadget that stops or even reverses time. Colleges will love that you invented such a thing and you’ll have enough time to do whatever you want to do. It’s a win-win situation.
