Has anyone got anything in the mail about applying for them? I have one on my aid form I want...it won't let me "accept" it, but it's still up there, not rejected. I called awhile ago and the lady was like, No, you don't need to do anything, we'll contact you, but I'm worried she was just blowing me off. I need that money.

Are you looking at your Financial Aid information through ISIS? If you accepted it just today, it won't show as accepted until like three business days later.

Talk to the financial aid office in person. You're going to have to fill out a simple form with an adviser and then you will be able to accept your loan online. This is depending on the type of loan you have, some you'll get "automatically" from FAFSA and others you have to do more for. I wouldn't wait too long, contact the office again.

I usually don't deal with things on the phone, going in person accomplishes things so much more smoothly. All of the FA people I have spoken to have been really helpful and nice. Trust me, they're a lot better than advisers in other schools.

I wouldn't drive to Gainesville for your problem. If you continue to get the run around on the phone, just visit the financial aid office when you go to preview.
