Can someone give me a list of your favorite/best local hotels in New Orleans/Metairie?
You don't have to give any detailed descriptions (or any description at all). I just need a good solid list.

Thanks.

Hotel Monteleone in the French Quarter is really nice and gave me a great rate when i was stranded in NOLA during Hurricane Irene. Nice room, lively bar, rooftop pool, free fabulous breakfast, great location.

I recently stayed at the newly re-opened Hyatt Regency, next to the Superdome. Although it is a bit of a walk to the French Quarter, its got really easy access to the highway/Claiborne Ave–to get to Tulane, the airport or Metairie. The hotel is beautiful and very nice service.

The Holiday Inn in Metairie is a nice option if you do not mind driving. It is close to the freeway and the mall, and the staff is very helpful.

I love the Roosevelt and they give a great Tulane discount. Really close to French Quarter and the trolley that will take you right to Tulane.

I was there this past weekend and stayed at the Royal Sonesta in the French Quarter, the atmosphere and service was incredible. It’s about a five minute walk to the streetcar which takes you right to Tulane.
