I'm going to college next year and I LOVE longboarding. Like I wrote my short answer on the Common Application about longboarding. Do you longboard around your campus? Are there a lot of longboarders on your campus? I plan on going to a school on the east coast so there's not as many longboarders as on the west coast. Do you think it would be appropriate to bring a longboard along when I go to tour school I've been accepted to?

You will be in college. You can ride whatever you want to class.

I plan on doing that when I eventually enroll in college. But I was wondering if it would be appropriate to bring a longboard with me when I actually start going on college tours.

Well, again, I think you can do whatever you want. I do think you will stick out - if that is what you are worried about.

You’re going to have to worry about where you’ll place it when you go in rooms. You don’t want to hurt anyone or be a pest. On colle tours you do walk in a group and long boarding while you’re guided seems a bit inconsiderate.

I would save the long boarding until after the college tour event is over or move in day.

No longboards on college tours - they are typically walking tours and go in and out of buildings - wait until you move in then pack the longboard

My campus is full of longboarders but personally I ride a crusier
