I love those first ones though they might not fit my need - like them ALOT!!

I was on the Sorel website yesterday and looked at the first ones @deb922 linked- FYI there are more colors available on their site. I have a Sorel pair that’s about 5 years old and they are very comfortable although I think they run a bit short.
I also have Blondo and Munro black booties and agree both very comfortable- I love a rubber sole for winter weather.

Last year at this time bought the Dansko Bethanie Boots on sale. For this person with foot problems they are stylish, minimalistic, and supremely comfortable.

I have terrible feet and swear by Bussolo booties. I have two different pairs, both microsuede (synthetic) and a rubbery/cushioned sole; one is four years old, constant wear from November-March and looks barely worn, the other are from last year and look pristine (didn’t get much salt from the streets last year since I wasn’t vaccinated and went out less). I was very reluctant to buy them at first-- but was having footpain and went to a local “comfort shoe store” and the very experienced salesperson told me that everyone with bad feet, wide feet, hard to find comfy boots feet LOVES this brand. And he was right. I spent a lot more than I had intended to, but for a comfy boot which is still nice enough for work/dress up after four winters- great value.

I will check out some of these other suggestions for the next time I’m shopping!!! Thank you all!

I have had difficulty finding comfort shoes and booties so I am interested in your suggestion.

When I googled Bussolo booties, it showed Bussola booties. It is Bussola, right?

@abasket, my Sorels kept my feet warm and dry, and the styling was great BUT they were the only seasonal boots I’ve ever had that had to be tossed because of wear. Not to say I wouldn’t buy another pair, but most of my shoes get a lot more wear before they get to that point! Always hard to know if this was an outlier or if they just weren’t that well made.

Just had to say how much I’m enjoying seeing all these cool, functional, stylin boots!

Yup, sorry for the typo! They are a European sizing- I wear an 8 or 8 1/2 Wide in US shoes, size 39 are very roomy and comfortable for me. Good luck!

Thank you. I wear size 6.5-7. I am one of those who need to actually try on shoes before I buy them.

Look like that’s not possible with this brand, unfortunately.

My daughter swears by Cole Haan boots.

I can’t seem to link here, but Aldo has several styles in your price range on sale right now. My daughter wore their brand for years in UG and Medschool. Were pricy (for me) at the time, but lasted. I always told her quality before quantity.

These boots aren’t under $150 ($199) but my kids got them at Christmas. They’ll wear it as a casual, everyday boot.

I also need to try on shoes. High instep, blah blah blah. Not every “comfort” shoe is comfortable! There are two stores in my area which carry many Euro brands of comfort shoes… one bills itself as a comfort shoe store, with fantastic salespeople (they can tell you if a shoe will stretch or not, if a sneaker will fit YOUR orthotic or if it won’t be comfortable), the other is a “walking shoe/fitness footwear” type of store. The former is very popular with the “over 60” crowd, the latter gets some athletes/weekend warrior types who can’t order Nike online and be done with it.

Try googling a few search terms to see if you’ve got similar?

If all else fails- Costco sells a VERY ugly bootie (most years they have both brown and black) with a thick tread, big zipper, somewhat indestructible suede. You will not win any fashion awards in them, but they are comfy (cut very wide to allow for thick socks or an orthotic) and very durable. They are my emergency boots when my feet are killing me and I don’t care how I look.

Those are VERY cute and if I could have dozens of pairs of boots I would have these!

I did receive a pair of Blondo boots yesterday - they are the ones I had tried on at NRack early in the fall and have still been on my mind.

I’m currently eyeing these up. They would be my “sporty” boots. I would wear them on more messy weather days and they would be fine at work with athleisure wear.

I mean how cute are these examples of a short(er) duck boot with casual work wear…
