I'm looking to transfer out of UT (I really considered it seriously at the beginning of this month). It's nothing personal, but it's mostly that I question how much the out of state tuition is worth for my goals, and I really miss my home (the pacific northwest). I've already applied at the schools I want to transfer into, but is there anything I need to take care of at UT? I already registered for classes here, so how do I get rid of that?

I don't believe there is a whole lot you would really have to do. Just don't pay tuition, and your registration gets dropped. I would just make sure the credits you do have transfer, and just talk to a counselor just in case.

I would drop all of your classes before not paying tuition, but just talk to an advisor. Transfering out or a university is not really a big problem in my experience, but it's a good idea to make sure everything is done right.
