Looking to Transfer to a Good Business School, but I Have a Problem

If you are TAP certified with your 3.71 GPA you will get into UCLA business econ. If you are TAP certified with your 3.71 GPA you MAY not get into USC marshall as they do not value TAP or honors (however I'm pretty sure with those stats you are in at USC as well).

guys we've jacked this thread far enough. the guy wants advice, let's give it to him.

a yes for all the schools listed, with good essays.

Yeah dhl3 quit your whinin :D and apply to a reach school already!

you think i got a chance at NYU? or is that just an impossibility?

yeah you have a shot at NYU maybe I'll see you there :)

If you're interested, you'd better plan ahead now! There are a/b 5 classes that you MUST take in order to be considered, and you need to have 2 SAT II test scores. Stern beats the hell out of USC and UCLA, but it is expensive! I'm going to visit in a couple weeks, but it's difficult to consider Stern for like 45k a year when McCombs is only 15k a year!

naw I'll stay within Cali.
I'm seriously strongly tempted into going out-of-state, but New York is known to be the 7th most expensive city in the world. cost-of-living is crazy up in there. I like education and all, but I dun wanna live in total poverty :)

Cali is my place.
I guess UCB is the reach school I'll apply.
Stanford. NO. HAHAHAHAHA nice joke :)

i'll just pretend that I got in so I could feel better :)

Up................

...........................

Anyone????????????

stop bumping this thread so much.. haha.

"3.1 hs gpa and 1000 SAT isn't that bad. just get a 3.5+ your freshman year and i don't see why you couldn't get into any of the colleges you listed."

it's not like you're applying to competitive schools or the ivy leagues.

I just want a little input. Why should it matter if I'm going to an ivy league school? Some of the schools I posted about are competitive business schools.

by competitive business school, i think forgiven meant schools like haas

What about San Diego State? They have a good business program.

"What about San Diego State? They have a good business program."
I got in there, but didn't like it when I went to visit. The students there didn't seem to care about academics.

I'm close to applying. I talked to someone from Oregon and they said a 2.5+ GPA is almost guaranteed admission for out of state. Anyone know if this is true?
