I still will have a graduating GPA of ATLEAST 3.9+, most likely a 4.0. My school only will have a graduating class of about 50 students, so being around 10th in the class is damaging. There are some very very smart students with a lot of time on their hands at my school. I had my time sucked right out of me because I started a charity and my grades very a little low comparatively because I took every singe AP class I was offered. 3 more than the next closes.
Would this change admission selection for the top schools?
Unfortunately, colleges are likely to look at your school as having grade inflation. However, the charities you started will boost your app.
Don’t listen to @Woandering. You go to a small school, so being 10/50 isn’t the same as being 100/500. The rankings are skewed because of how small your school is. Colleges KNOW this. Don’t worry
